MEDITATION CIRCLE
– Mother Theresa –
BOOK NOW
When we live in a world of materialism Mother Teresas simple and profound words can cut through that and draw our attention to the power of now.
Whilst I incorporate meditation into my yoga classes I also hold a space for mindfulness/meditation classes. The real meditation is how you live your life, mindfulness practice helps to illuminate our life and fully experience how we live it. Learning how to concentrate the mind on the present moment, means that we do not dwell on the past or dream of the future. Bringing our attention to the present moment is the essence of mindfulness.
A key component of mindfulness, and one which can sometime cause difficulty is the concept of acceptance: surrender to what is and have faith in what will be. But we like this for its sense of release from the past and the subsequent freedom of letting go. We cannot always change the events that happen to us in life, but we can choose how we respond to them.
Regular practice of mindfulness and meditation helps you to reconnect and brings inner peace.
The practice of mindfulness and mindful meditation in itself isnt difficult, once you are shown the technique, but continuing to remain present in any moment does require awareness of when your thoughts are not present or when you are being judgemental of your situation or surroundings, or your mind is elsewhere.
I create a space that enables you to reconnect and bring inner peace.I focus on a different theme every week which concentrates on becoming more present whilst giving techniques to build up your own meditation practice.
